In an effort to encourage Catholic School chess clubs in Western Washington, Seattle Prep hosted a tournament for K-12 students on Saturday, November 15th. Students needed to be enrolled in a Catholic school or be a registered parishioner. To make the tournament as inclusive as possible, there were competitive sections as well as a “novice” section where participation and learning about tournament play was emphasized over competition.

Michael tied for First Place and Andres came in Second with the Spirit Award. Sacred Heart placed First in overall points.
