"SPAM" Filter Tips

  1. Avoid putting anything in the subject line that refers to money (loan, mortgage, credit, sale, etc.)

  2. Don’t use anything that has to do with sex (this includes adjectives like steamy, hot, as well as body parts and other obvious words), in the subject line or message body.

  3. Avoid using any words having to do with medicine (drugs, meds, pills, medication by name).

  4. Avoid words having to do with gambling, alcohol, travel, stocks, real estate.

  5. Discourage friends/non-business associates from sending you jokes, chain letters, large picture files, or mass mailings (such as evites) to your sacredheart.org mail account.

  6. Stick to school business. Generally this will keep the appropriate emails flowing unobstructed.

  7. I see all mail that gets stuck in spam filters, so don’t be sending stuff you would be uncomfortable sharing with others.
